The qualifying round for the Mens Foursomes Championship is scheduled for Saturday May 10, with the matchplay rounds scheduled on consecutive Saturdays May 17, 24 & 31.
If you would like to play, attend the in-clubhouse timesheet ballot on Friday May 2 or simply book online or through the Pro Shop.
However, if you do not have a partner, please enter your name on the booking sheet anyway and we will try to team you up with a player that keeps you in the same grade.
The championship format is alternate shots and conditions are as follows;
- The Championship is open to 7day playing Male members, 7day Senior Male members, Male Life Members & Male Junior Members.
- Other categories of members can play in the Foursomes competition on the qualifying day if times available, but are not eligible to qualify for the Matchplay.
- One qualifying round of stroke play, after which the top 8 pairs in each grade qualify for matchplay.
- Playing handicaps for each grade are; A: up to & incl 7; A Reserve: 8 to 12; B: 13 to 18; C: 19+.
- The lowest marker of each pair at the date of the qualifying round, will determine the playing grade of each pair.
- Cost is $17 per player for the qualifying round & $17 per qualifying player to cover all matchplay rounds.
- Play in the Qualifying round will be from the Blue Bubbles, with all matchplay rounds played from the Blue distance plates.
- Teams may change their teeing order after the qualifying round & prior to each matchplay game if they so choose.
- IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT TO ALL THREE OF THE MATCHPLAY ROUNDS, PLEASE ADVISE THE CAPTAIN OR A GOLF COMMITTEE REPRESENTATIVE MANAGING THE IN-CLUBHOUSE SCOREBOARD.
