Life Members
A Life Member of Asquith Golf Club is an individual who has provided exceptional, distinguished, or long and valued service to the Club.
Life Membership is a recognition of those who have made significant contributions to the Club’s success and community, and is granted in accordance with the provisions set out in the Club’s Constitution.
Rights and Privileges:
Life Members are entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of a 7 Day Playing Member, but shall not be liable to pay annual subscriptions or Golf Australia affiliation fees.
Election Process:
Life Membership is awarded through a majority vote at an Annual General Meeting or a General Meeting, following due notice and with the support of a nomination submitted by at least two financial Ordinary Members or Life Members. Nominations for Life Membership must be submitted in writing to the Board at least 60 days prior to the meeting.
Limit on Life Members:
The total number of living Life Members at any given time is limited to 8.
