NOMINATIONS for Directors are Now Closed
Nominations are opened for the Board of Directors and Ladies Committee 31st July 2010 and closed 4pm Monday 30th August 2010.
Voting for both the Board of Directors and the Ladies Committee will begin Sunday 12th September and will close Sunday 26th September at 4pm. Please see the office to vote and have your membership card and drivers license for identification, ready.
The Annual General Meeting will occur on Monday 27th September 2010 at 7.30pm.

Passing of a Life Member
We have the sad news of informing members that Asquith Golf Club Life Member, Mr Keith Clark passed away over the weekend of 26th and 27th June. Keith had been unwell and in hospital when he took a turn for the worse. A large continegency of family and friends, many of those from Legacy and Asquith Golf Club attended the funeral, and later at the Club for the Wake. Our thoughts are with his wife Val, and the family.

New Caterer has Joined Asquith Golf Club
Most members would have undoubtedly have heard that Rob and Karen Mooney of Simply Functional Catering have resigned as our caterers, with their last day to be 30th June 2010. We wish them all the best in Port Macquarie at the Port Golf Club.
A selection panel was formed and tender documents drawn up to ensure the process was professional, smooth and drew the right type of candidates that the Club was looking for. The quality of the applicants was very high, however we believe the we have found the right caterer for Asquith Golf Club.
The Club would like to formally announce that our new caterer will be Stuart Cosgrove and ‘Wattle It Be Catering’.
Stuart will start on 1st July 2010 and already has a busy time ahead of him, with our Captain and Presidents dinner his first formal event for the Club. Stuart comes to us from a successful background of catering and management at Pennant Hills Bowling Club. Members will notice some changes to the food items being offered, and I am sure Stuart will be asking members what they are looking for, and he already has some wonderful ideas that we believe will work for both members and our guests. We welcome Stuart and his team and look forward to a long and successful future ahead.
Stuart has been working on his menu's for the Club and as soon as we have a draft avaiable, we will be able to post one here for all members. Stuart will begin his first week with a reduced menu and build from there. He will have his Bistro Items ready to go for Trivia Night Friday 3rd July, as well as Blackboard specials. We expect a big night, so don;t forget to book a table!

Trivia Nights at Asquith Golf Club
Asquith Golf Club holds a Trivia Night once a month on Friday Nights, where members and visitors alike are welcome.
