SPECIAL NOTICE

It is the duty of each and every member to acquire a proper knowledge of the Official Rules of Golf and also the Local Rules of the day. Simple breaches can incur a penalty stroke(s) or disqualification. Official Rulebooks are available from the Secretary.

Women intending to compete in the competition on Tuesdays must enter their name in a book or sheet kept in the women’s locker room for this purpose. Timesheets will be available 2 weeks prior to competition. On Thursdays women are to enter their name on the terminal. If you are unable to play, please phone to cancel. You must advise the Pro Shop, Women’s Captain and playing partners. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

A player is responsible for using her correct handicap at all times and you MUST phone the Handicap Manager each time you play away or think you have broken your handicap.

When a player competes in a competition round before a previous handicap-altering score is processed, their correct Australian Women’s Handicap will be that displayed by Golf Link. Golf Australia stipulates: a) players are not required to administer their own official Australian handicap, b) Committees are able to amend net scores after a competition has closed in order to account for delayed processing of previous handicap-altering scores. c) Committees may require a player to play off the figure their new handicap will be, even if their handicap is yet to be officially adjusted.
