What are their key responsibilities?
All matters relating to the running of Golf competitions within the club e.g.: fixture book, booking sheets & declaration of competitions.
Liaison with the Greens committee to ensure course is prepared and set up as required for the various competitions.
All matters relating to application of Rules of Golf, establishment & maintenance of Local Rules Board and providing decisions or seeking further clarification from governing bodies where required.
Under the Registered Clubs Act, all clubs are required by law to keep a register
containing information that relates to the management and financial administration of the club.
