Your Special Day

Asquith Golf Club is set in bushland near Hornsby, just off the Mount Colah exit of the Sydney to Newcastle Expressway. The Clubhouse offers a warm ambience with timber features and Club traditional and historic décor and furnishings. Our gardens are available for photographs prior to your reception. Further work is planned in the coming months.

Food & Beverage service reflects the high standards of the Club that regularly caters for premium occasions and weddings. Our Chef and service staff offer a high standard of food production and presentation.

Booking & Confirming

Bookings are required confirmed in writing and accompanied by a $200 security deposit. Tentative bookings are accepted, however the deposit is then required within 2 weeks. Where confirmation and deposit is not received by the due date, the Club reserves the right to release the booking.

Booking cancellations and return of deposit will be accepted up until 2 months from the date of the function. Deposits are non-refundable where cancellations are within the 2 month period, unless we can rebook the room.

Dress Regulations

Club policy requires all guests be neatly dressed, including collared shirt and tailored trousers.

It is the responsibility of the client to advise all guests of the above dress regulations.

Arrival/Overtime/Extra Time

With consideration to issues such as parking and access to pre-function areas, the earliest permissible guest arrival time is 5.00.pm; however, the room can be set-up during the day.

The function room is available for 7 hours, within the pricing and packaging. The bar closes not later than 11.45.p.m. (Unless approval given)

Food & Beverage Policy

Food and Beverage may not be brought on to Club premises.

We are pleased to assist you with your menu selection, however it is necessary to provide your selection no less than 7 days prior to your Reception.

Guest final numbers are required 7 days prior to the Reception for the basis of the minimum charge for the Dinner component.

Food and Beverage pricing and menus are subject to change and GST.

Payment

Full payment for the Dinner component is required days prior to the Reception in conjunction with the confirmation of the number of guests attending.

Payment may be made by cheque, cash or credit card – Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard or Bpay. We do not accept Diners Card or Amex.

Clubhouse

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Clubhouse.

Mobile phones may only be used in the public phone area of the clubhouse or on the verandah.

Photography

Our gardens, which are located close to the Clubhouse, can be used for your special photographs. In the case of inclement weather, the verahdah has spectacular views over the golf course and bushland.

These areas are available free of charge.

Personal Property

The Club will take reasonable precautions to ensure the security of personal property however does not accept responsibility for losses resulting from theft or damage.

Damage to Clubhouse Property

The organisation or individual booking the function is responsible for any damage sustained to any part of the Club or Golf Course caused by their guests.
