More Than A Golf Venue
For up to 220 guests seated, Asquith Golf Club specializes in non-golf corporate events, wedding receptions, charitable fundraisers, award evenings, christenings, birthdays. Our comfortable and spacious club house is the perfect place to enjoy our wide range of delicious food, from hors d’oeuvres to an elegant sit down dinner. Our clubhouse has multi functional paneling enabling us to configure the room to suit your requirements an needs. Our function room over looks the golf course with floor to ceiling windows allowing guests to take in the panoramic views.
Menus
Booking and Confirming a Function
Bookings must be confirmed in writing and accompanied by a $200 deposit. This amount will be used as a security bond for your event,and will be refunded within 14 days of the event. Tentative bookings are accepted however the deposit is then required within 2 weeks.
Food and Beverage
Food and Beverage may not be brought on to the Club Premises.
Food and Beverage final numbers are required 14 days prior to the event for the basis of the minimum charge for all pre-booked catering requirements. A leeway does not apply to catering numbers.
Food and beverage pricing is subject to change.
Layout Options
Our venue is Multi Functional and we can arrange the rooms to suit your needs. We have a mixture of round and long tables and would be happy to discuss how you would like the room set up.
Audio Visual & Conference Equipment is available for Hire
Data projector, Projector Screen, Whiteboard & Flipchart are some of the available resources you have to choose from.
Timing
With consideration to issues such as parking and access to pre-function areas, the earliest permissible guest arrival time is 5.00pm however the room can be set up during the day.
The function room is available for 5 hours, within the pricing and packaging. The bar closes no later than 11.45pm unless other agreements have been made.
Photography
Our gardens, which are located close to the Clubhouse, can be used for your special photographs. In the case of inclement weather, the verandah may be used which has beautiful views over the golf course bush land.
These areas are available free of charge. These times are to be arranged with the functions co-ordinator
Putting Green
Some clients like to add the use our putting green to their event. Due to the cost of upkeep of this area we have to charge a fee of $200 Deposit and ask all guests to please take care and respect the work that is put into maintaining this area. If any damage occurs the client will be charged an additional fee for repairs.
Dress Regulations
Club policy requires all guests be neatly dressed.
It is the responsibility of the client to advise all guests of the above dress regulation.
Payment
Where an account has been established, final payment is required within 14 days of the function. Payment can be made by cheque, cash and credit card Visa and Mastercard, we do not accept Diners or Amex.
Cancellations
Where confirmation and deposits are not received by the due date, the Club reserves the right to cancel the booking.
Booking cancellations, and return of deposit will be accepted up until 2 months from the date of function. Deposits are non-refundable where cancellations are within the 2 month period
Cake Service Fee
Cake Service Fee is $3.00 per guest and includes a cake display table with linen, dessert plates and forks for each guest, cake cutting by our wait staff followed by serving of the cake to party guests.
Personal Property
The Club will take reasonable precautions to ensure the security of personal property however does not accept responsibility for losses resulting from theft or damage..
Security
A security guard is required at all 18th and 21st Birthdays and any other functions where management sees fit.
Damage to Clubhouse Property
The organization or individual booking the function is responsible for any damage sustained to any part of the Club or Golf Course caused by their guests.
