New Computer System - Trouble Shoot Tips
Members, we have now moved fully over to the NEW MiClub Golfing System. You will notice your link on the left hand side will take you to the new site. Log in using your Membership Number and Password (the first four digits of your date of birth). Please be aware that for a short period of time, access to your Online House Account details will be unavailable. We will endeavour to ensure it is back up within a day or so.
Please note that prior to loading the system on Wed 23rd Feb, your Passwords were reset to the first four digits of you Date of Birth. If you have changed this in the new system then that change will apply. If you still cannot log on either at the kiosk or the internet contact the Club as we may not have your date of birth.
For some TIPS on TROUBLE SHOOTING the new system, please scroll down below.
To read our Newsletter Article in regards to the system, please click here.
Once logged in Members have access to Help Guidelines however you may click on them below, or check out the Trouble Shooting Tips at the bottom of this page.
- Asquith's Step by Step for the NEW System
- MiClub's Online Booking Guide
- MiClub's Online Booking Features
- MiClub's Kiosk Tee Bookings (these are available at each Kiosk in the Clubhouse)
We understand that the new system looks a little bit different and operates slightly differently, however with some patience members will find the differences minimal. For any questions do not hesitate to contact the office, or utilise MiClub's Website Support at the bottom of the page once logged in.
TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS
Logging In
See above. Contact the Club if you cannot log in and we can provide you with your password.
Booking In First Steps
First you need to add your Playing Partners so they are easily accessible online and at the kiosk. If you select a default group you can automatically put these names in on a timesheet with one click.
Booking In and the Refresh button
Whilst waiting to see when the timesheets open in the past you may have used a refresh button in the program. There is no need for this on the new system as you can use your internet browsers refresh button. In windows it is to the right of your www box and looks like two green arrows moving in a circle. If you have a different browser the button will look slightly different.
Booking In Finding a Member
Type in the players last name. If they still don't appear, place a comma and type in the first initial of their first name eg Peter Ryan would be: Ryan, P
Booking In A Visitor
You will only be able to put a visitors name onto an Invititaional or Open timesheet. Go to the timesheet itself and click on the box that has the tee time in it and surrounded by coloured box. This will bring up a booking facility where you can put all four players in. Notice down the bottom 'Enter Visitor Details'. Enter the players GOLFLINK number (you have to have this) and the rest of their details will appear.
Booking In changing the order of players
Go to the timesheet itself and click on the box that has the tee time in it and surrounded by coloured box. If you have entered in the names of your players, you will need to tick the boxes next to their name for them to be entered on the sheet. The order in which you tick them, will determine the order they are placed on the timesheet. You may continue to change this, until you click the confirm button.
Booking In and Cancelling
If a member books in a group of four, that member will be able to cancel any or all of those players should they need to. You will notice that those players will have a red circle/cross next to their names. Please be aware that if you cancel a player, you cannot necessarily replace the player with another of your choice. If there is a waitlist for the timesheet, the person at the top of the waitlist will be automatically put in the spare spot you have made available by deleting a player. You can check to see if there are any names on the waitlist and what times they are requesting, by clicking on the Waitlist button above the timesheet you have open.
Why does my partners handicaps show, but mine have an "H" next to it? Click on the "H" and you will be taken to Golflink to show your current handicap.
Email me and my partners when I book in
Members will be emailed when another player places them on, or deletes them from a timesheet. This will also occur if you are moved from the waitlist.
Results can now be found in the members log in area
For most male/mixed competitions there are two lots of results provided. The computer generated one Listed as 'Results' as well as 'All Results' listed directly under the 'Results' will provide you with the Club results that you see posted outside the Pro Shop.
Leaderboard facilties online
Members can now view the leaderboards from home. Log in and click on the Leaderboard tab on the right hand side and select the day of competition. You can look at the run down of all grades, a particular grade, and even a hole by hole score card for each player. This is also handy if you believe an incorrect score has been entered. The leaderboard is live and available even during the current days competition just like you would see in the clubhouse. And yes the Leaderboard in the Clubhouse is being fine tuned to be more colourful and with larger font.
Hole by Hole
Members can now also view results on a hole by hole basis. Go to the Leaderboard page. Under the bold heading Leaderboard, members will see a box that you can tick 'Hole by Hole'. It will take a moment to upload, but show you the entire field hole by hole results.
Pace of Play Notice
Please see that as of 1st February 2011, Asquith Golf Club has adopted the attached Pace of Play Conditions to all Asquith Competitions. The document has been circulated since early January and it is posted up on our Local Rules board for all golfers to note.
Distance Measuring Devices
In this day and age of technology, it has come to our attention that some distance measuring devices being used on course, may contradict the Rules of Golf. Asquith has a Local Rule (#11) in regards to this problem to help members clarify the Rules of Golf as they apply to such devices. This may effect some applications that iPhone and other similar devices have available. Please read the Official Notice, and if needed refer to the Rules of Golf for further clarification. Such devices would not be able to be used for Competition Golf at Asquith Golf Club.
